Nikola Tesla is -one of- my hero(s)

I figured my first ever blog posting oughtta be an homage to Nikola Tesla. I ran across this video of him not too long ago, and it conjured up all sorts of dormant sentiment. He caused a city block to quake with sound waves, and would have developed the ray gun had he not died. He died alone, in a hotel, broke, and in love with a pigeon like so many of the brilliant minds we have known. Thank you Nikola Tesla for blessing us with your brilliance. I am in favor of swapping out Columbus Day for Nikola Tesla Day.
